Create (and Live!) Your Vision
This class is for anyone who feels like something is missing and wants to live a more meaningful life in alignment with their true self.
With all of life's obligations, demands, and hectic pace, it's easy to get off track from where you'd wanted to be, and feel stuck and like you're just running on autopilot. On top of that, past disappointments can cause you to give up on your dreams and lead to losing your passion for life. Having a strong, clear vision will put the passion back in your life, help you believe in yourself and your abilities, and give you the tenacity you'll need to keep pursuing your dreams in the face of disappointment. If you're yearning for something more, this workshop will help you clarify and connect to your vision, reclaim your dreams, and recapture your energy and enthusiasm for life.
This class will be comprised of a brief lecture, hands-on writing exercises, and group discussion. In this session you will: Learn the importance of having a vision * Craft your mission statement * Articulate your vision * Identify -- and avoid -- potential barriers and self-defeating patterns that stand in the way of living the life you want * Develop simple, practical steps that you can start taking right away to realize and live your vision
Class size is limited to a maximum of 8 students
Location: Grind, 419 Park Avenue South, 2nd Fl.
Cost: $20

Tell Your Stories: Writing Workshop for Women
This class is for women at ALL LEVELS of writing -- from brand-new beginners to experienced pros. All that matters is that you have a desire to write.
As women, we carry stories that shape and define who we are. We may long to express ourselves and tell our stories, but there are always reasons to keep our words locked up inside us and our voices silenced.
Maybe you're too busy and don't have time to put your pen to the page, are afraid of being judged if you say what you really think and show who you really are, or doubt that you have anything truly of value to say. In this safe, non-judgmental environment, you'll begin to let go of your excuses and be empowered to raise your voice and tell your stories.
This workshop will be comprised of a brief lecture, freewriting exercises, and group discussion. In this session you will: Break through blocks * Focus on finding and strengthening your writing voice * Write new material for your own experiences -- in a simple, playful, non-angsty way * Set the foundation for developing a consistent writing practice * Learn the importance of self-care, self-acceptance, and self-trust to creativity * Have fun! Class size is limited to a maximum of 8 students
Location: Grind, 419 Park Avenue South, 2nd Fl.
Cost: $20
